About Korean at Home

Founder statement

I created Korean at Home to make high-quality Korean learning resources more accessible to English speakers. By providing simple, effective strategies, I help families and Korean learners make learning the language enjoyable and build habits that make using Korean natural and stress-free.

Korean at Home was founded by Jessica Lee

Jessica Lee is a bilingual language educator and passionate advocate for raising bilingual children. Having grown up in a multicultural environment and raising her own child bilingually, Jessica has always been deeply interested in language acquisition, cultural connections, and the power of creating meaningful habits for learning.

With over a decade of experience learning Korean, including self-study, living abroad, and earning a Bachelor’s degree in Korean Language from Brigham Young University, Jessica has developed a deep understanding of both language learning and multilingual methods. She has also studied various strategies for raising multilingual children and continues to be a lifelong learner, constantly refining her approach.

This passion for language and education led her to create Korean at Home, a platform dedicated to making Korean learning accessible, enjoyable, and stress-free for both families and individual learners. Through her work, she seeks to make Korean language resources more accessible, empowering learners to confidently embrace the language and culture while building simple, effective habits for lasting language success.
