Hello! Today I wanted to share this adorable board book for children 0-3. It’s a book written in English that highlights the Korean and Chinese traditions of Lunar New Year.
The book starts out sharing that while Lunar New Year is celebrated in many countries, each country has their own traditions.
The book then shares traditional dress, foods, customs and games from both China and Korea.
It ends by sharing that family is the most important aspect of celebrating Lunar New Year!
The book is so wholesome! It is great for any family that wants to pass down Korean culture and family values. It is also great for any English speakers who want to bring more cultural awareness and appreciation for diversity into the lives of their children. I would definitely recommend checking this book out at your local library and eventually purchasing it if you and your children enjoy it.
