When teaching my daughter Korean, I try to make sure that she completely understands the concept first in her native language before introducing it in Korean. So I have gone over the calendar and how it works with her in English. We talked about the different months, weeks, days, and dates and also use a calendar in our lives daily. Once she has the concept down, I use these videos to help introduce her to vocabulary and phrases used in Korean so we can use the calendar in Korean. If Korean is your first language, then go ahead and introduce the calendar comfortably without worry! If your first language is not Korean, then make sure that your child gets a native explanation first before introducing the concept in Korean.
This video introduces the months in a calendar view.
