Hello. I am hoping to use Play-Doh more with my daughter. Play-Doh is a great way to develop fine motor skills. Here are some activity ideas I hope to do with my daughter soon.
While I am waiting a bit to teach my daughter how to read Korean, I think this is an easy and lighthearted way to introduce Korean characters. I hope to do this with my daughter soon.
Here is such a cute Korean food activity that I would like to do. Making kimbap out of Play-Doh! My daughter loves this kind of stuff.
There is a class on Outsource that I am interested in trying out. It is a class where a native speaker leads a play-based class teaching Korean vocabulary and language through play. Sounds like fun!
In this weekly course, students will learn basic vocabulary based on weekly themes. The teacher will guide learners to create themed objects with playdough while practicing phrases and vocabulary. At the end of each class, learners will share their creations and reinforce the vocabulary they’ve learned.

If you are a native speaker, you can definitely do this with your kid at home. Just choose themes and then help your child create what you are discussing. They will increase their Korean vocabulary all while also learning how to talk about Play-Doh in Korean. I think I will have my daughter join the Outsource class, and observe the class, then decide if it is worth doing the class or if I can do something similar at home. It looks like this week’s theme is fruit! That is quite easy. Just creating fruits together and learning and talking about the fruit and how to form it using Play-Doh.
